This major conference was the first in New Zealand’s history focusing on redesigning our economic system to deliver for the public good. 

Highlighting the range of modern economic approaches from Māori, Wellbeing, Ecological, Circular, Doughnut and Degrowth Economics this one day event will be a must attend for change-makers, policy-makers, economists, businesses doing good and anyone who wants systemic change to address the most pressing challenges Aotearoa faces.  

Thanks to financial support from Partners for a New Economy and Auckland University of Technology,  WEAll Aotearoa is able to organise this conference which:

  • Spotlighted leading progressive economic thinkers from Māori, Wellbeing, Ecological, Circular, Doughnut and Degrowth Economics approaches. 
  • Hosted a political panel to challenge representatives to think long-term, big picture 
  • Launched the Project Moonshot map of leading positive case studies across Aotearoa
  • Hosted practical trainings on how to think like Twenty-first century economists, how to think systemically and how to use best practice narratives and frameworks?  delivered by experts
