Dr Russell is a Consultant Developmental Paediatrician at Starship Child Health and the Clinical Chief Advisor – Child and Youth at the Ministry of Health.

Jin cares deeply about early life experiences and developmental and health outcomes for all children growing up in Aotearoa New Zealand. Her PhD (Paediatrics) with the University of Auckland mapped the health and developmental trajectories for children in the Growing Up in NZ study over their first 2000 days.

Jin lives in Tamaki Makaurau with her husband Matheson and two boys.
