Bobby Shen is the senior manager at the New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC) looking after the sustainability of existing buildings. He uses his background in commercial architecture and sustainability to assist Aotearoas property sector work toward a low-carbon and ESG-responsive future. Through this role, he has been working closely with the property and finance sector on NZGBCs first sustainable finance guide which includes Green Star, Green Star Performance, NABERSNZ, and Homestar – rating tools that help verify the sustainability of building projects and assets for sustainable finance benefits.
