Biography

Lief has a 15 year sexual health background, she spent 10 years as a senior sexual health and sexual assault nurse for the Auckland sexual health service. She has worked closely with government and non-government sexual violence prevention organisations. She has been working in the area of youth and porn for 2 1/2 years and authored The Light Project report Porn and young people - What do we know?.

Tracy Clelland is a lecturer in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Canterbury. She is currently completing her doctoral studies focusing on parental engagement in sexuality education. She has been a Health Education teacher in secondary schools and a Family Planning Educator.

Biography

Abby has worked in and around the health sector including Family Planning International where she ran projects in the Pacific for sexual and reproductive health and rights. More recently she took up a role with Positive Women as the Positive Speakers Bureau Coordinator. As the coordinator for the NZ Positive Speakers’ Bureau, Abby is responsible for managing and delivering the programme and the day to day operating of this unique health promotion service. With over 85 events already this year, Abby has first-hand understanding of how evaluation can be a tipping point for health promotion services. She is here today to explain an agile evaluation method – Triangulation, and how it can be much more than just “ticking the box”.

Analosa Veukiso-Ulugia is a Sāmoan lecturer in the School of Counselling, Human Services and Social Work at the University of Auckland. A health professional specialising in Pacific youth health, Analosa is committed to the empowerment of Pacific communities, specifically in the area of sexual health.
