She completed her postgraduate training in pelvic floor physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne and now runs a busy private clinic, employing two other staff.

Dr Charlene Rapsey is a lecturer based in the Department of Psychological Medicine at the Otago Medical School. She teaches in the areas of sexual medicine, sexuality, and sexual health. She has broad research interests including a focus on mental disorder, childhood maltreatment, and sexual health. She is also a registered clinical psychologist.

I have worked in Family Planning New Zealand since 1999 and also passionate about teaching contraception, smear taking and gynaecological examination to students and nurses. I also have a special interest in Forensic Medicine ( Sexual Assault)and offer my services as an After hour on call doctor for MEDSAC.
Dr. McCann has been working in Family Planning, New Zealand for 20 years. She received her medical degree from Myanmar. She obtained Diplomas in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Sexual and Reproductive Health from Auckland. She has been training insertion of intrauterine devices/ systems to nurses and general practitioners since 2015.
