Dr Niki Stefanogiannis is a public health physician and Deputy Director of Public Health at the Ministry of Health. She has an interest and is involved in a number of diverse workstreams in the Ministry, including rheumatic fever, immunisation, pandemic planning, as well as addressing the increase in syphilis in New Zealand.

Teena matthew is a Sexual Health Physician, working in both MidCentral DHB & Wellington Sexual Health Services. She has previously worked in Rotorua Health Service & Tauranga Family Planning Service. She has also worked in the field of Sexual Health or HIV in 3 other countries – Cheshire & Merseyside in the UK, (where she obtained herspecialist training in the field), Blantyre, Malawi and Bangalore in India (undergraduate training). Her interest are in STIs in Pregnancy and hence volunteered to be on the antenatal syphilis guideline writing group

Subha is a public health medicine specialist, and the clinical lead at the Auckland Regional Public Health Service in sexually transmitted infections, blood borne viruses, and vector borne diseases. She is currently supporting Auckland Sexual Health Services in managing the syphilis outbreak and finding innovative ways to improve access to sexual health services across the Auckland Region.

Maggie's nursing background is in Public Health, she has worked primarily in alternative education settings with at risk youth.
She has a keen interest in community focused health care and she loves working at Sexual Health
