The Headwaters Eco Lodge - Cooking Experience

Experience a cooking class set in the magical landscape of Glenorchy, at The Headwaters Eco Lodge.
Your morning starts with an exclusive tour of our kitchen gardens, selecting fresh seasonal vegetables and picking herbs to use in your lunch.
Once back in the kitchen, our chef will discuss ideas and recipes with you to create a chef's choice lunch that is not only healthy but extremely delicious. then it's a case of 'watch and learn', gaining expert knowledge and useful tips to take home. You can be actively involved in your lunch (a chef always needs someone to help with the prep and give things a good stir!) or soak it all in from the other side of the kitchen bench.
Once lunch is ready, sit and enjoy your meal in The Dining Room with stunning views of mountain ranges and a complimentary glass of wine.
Minimum of 2 and maximum of 10 people.
Price is additional to conference registration and bookings can be made when registration opens.
Snow Shoeing on the Mountain
Saturday 17 August 2024, 1.30pm - 6.30pm
This is a real snow adventure in a true Alpine environment. The Pisa and Remarkables Mountain Ranges offer fantastic terrain to explore and experience the snow. The snow trips are suitable for all people (7+ years) and most fitness levels.
- 1.30pm – 6.30pm
- Includes transport to/from the mountain, guide, hot drink and small snack
- Attendance at this activity is at your own risk, the conference is not liabile for any injury
- Minimum 4 and maximum 16 people
